Worship With Us

Join Us!

Join Us Sunday Mornings at 10:00 AM

Join us Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for an inclusive, family-friendly, multicultural, musical celebration of Christianity that blends the traditional with the contemporary. During worship, we pray, sing, share joys and concerns, listen to the wisdom of Scripture, and reflect on how God is still speaking to us today.

The Pastor’s Message connects scripture with contemporary life, encouraging both personal and collective responses. “Feasting with God” Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. Sunday bulletins, written copies of the Pastor’s message, and a large projection screen help engage friends and visitors throughout the service.

Prayer, Reflection, and Sacred Space

Candle tables for adults and children with electric candles invite moments of silent prayer or remembrance at any time during the service. A children’s table provides activities for younger participants until the children’s message time.

Indoor gardens enhance the sanctuary with natural light and plant life, creating a peaceful environment for worship and reflection.

A Celebration of Praise

Our Music Director, Jimmy Vann, is a professional pianist and vocalist who brings both talent and soul to our services. He is accompanied by our praise band, choir, and talented vocalists.

Each week, we feature a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship music. Our lively and uplifting worship songs help create a joyful atmosphere that invites everyone to experience the spirit through music.

Welcoming the Next Generation

Children and youth are always welcome in worship. After the Children’s Message, they attend age appropriate Sunday school classes and later rejoin the congregation for the closing Benediction.

We believe strongly in mentoring young people, so they grow into confident and compassionate adults who are grounded in faith and prepared to face life’s challenges.

Fellowship and Connection

Our church family stays connected throughout the week and is always there to support one another.

After Sunday service, coffee, donuts, and refreshments are served on the patio. This is a great opportunity to relax, talk, and get to know others in the community.

Come As You Are

Many people feel they must dress a certain way for church, but at DBUCC we invite you to come as you are. We are an informal and casual group, so please dress comfortably and be yourself.
