"Jesus Left the Building" Sundays

Church isn't just a place you go; it's something you do. Four times a year, on the fifth Sunday of the month, DBUCC takes our worship out of the pews and into the streets. We call this initiative "Jesus Left the Building."

How It <i>Works</i>

How It Works

On these special Sundays, we hold an abbreviated morning worship service. Immediately afterward, the entire congregation disperses to participate in hands-on service projects throughout the community.

Recent Projects Include

  • Preparing and serving dinner at Our House Shelter.

  • Packaging bags of rice and beans for the local food bank.

  • Picking up roadside litter to care for our local environment.

  • Painting and refurbishing rooms at the food bank.
