Outreach

 

Serving Our Community and Beyond If you can conceive of it, we have members who will jump

in to help.  We're not an enormous group, but our hearts are full and our reach is impressive! 

Here are some of the things we're into:

 

Weekly food collection for the local food pantry

 

PB&J Sack Lunch Ministry - Meals at Urban Mission for the local community and homeless

 

Christmas Adopt-a-Family

 

Participation in annual fundraisers for food pantries, cancer research, and other charities

 

Prison Ministry at CIW (Chino Institution for women)

 

Sponsorship of children in Zambia

 

Developing a Community Garden on our campus to help feed those in need

 

Support of annual UCC "Neighbors in Need" and "One Great Hour of Sharing" 

 

Participate as a "5 for 5" congregation of the United Church of Christ  (Giving basic

support, plus four special mission offerings throughout the year)
